Climbing training for adults

We are starting subscriptions from September 2018. We invite adults to train for climbing in rocks or mountains (separate groups). We conduct professional climbing training. Climbing sections are divided into beginner and advanced groups. Trainings last 2 hours. We also run individual and rehabilitation classes. Small groups of up to 6 people allow you to maintain the proper climbing progress. We run morning classes from 10: 00-12: 00 and 12: 00-14: 00 and afternoons 19: 30-21: 30 in Krakow on several climbing walls and in rocks in the spring-autumn period. Some groups train in terms of mountain tourism and climbing. Sometimes we go abroad in the winter. Evening activities mainly take place at the Climbing Center on ul. Racławicka 60, Ludowa 6 and ul. Szymon Szymonowica 83 in Krakow. Morning classes take place on ul. Szymona Szymonowica 83 (around Ruczaj, Skotnik).

What can you achieve?

The training prepares the student to climb on an artificial wall, in rocks, on a rock course, on high-mountain expeditions (climbing and hiking). First of all, it is preparation for sports climbing. You can see a quick improvement in the condition, a better frame of mind at the height, sometimes combating the fear of heights. Group exercises are an excellent form of training, play and integration with other participants. We set the goal of the training together! In the summer, morning activities are also conducted in the rocks near Krakow.

Where You can travel with us?

We organise trips to many countries for bouldering, rock climbing, skitouring or skialpinism trips. We climb everywhere it is possible!

if you train in our school You can use a discount for many trips during the whole season.

How do we train?

Climbing school Cumbre runs climbing classes called Climbing sections all year round on the artificial wall, when it gets warm, we run sections in the rocks. Climbing training consists in preparing a sectionalist in technical, physical and mental terms for climbing in the rock. Training in the beginner group starts with learning basic climbing techniques, then we build strength for the next five months. Training is individual and you can not train everyone with one method, but it is a pattern that we try to distress.

What kind of training can we offer?

Depending on the instructor, there are different styles of classes. At the Cumbre School, we try to learn the technical basics first and increase the strength so that it will be able to continue learning advanced techniques. We assume that a weak person is not able to use certain techniques due to lack of power reserves. There are different systems here, although this one worked very well for us. People running this system were making fast progress, which is confirmed by the valuation of roads in the rock and the results of climbing competitions. The following months are the preparation for climbing in the rock and transferring the power acquired on the panel to practical rock difficulties. We separate indoor climbing from climbing in the rock. That’s why we have sections climbing in the rock, on the panel, in the mountains and mixed groups.

Which group to choose?

It’s best to practice for what we need. Mountain climbing sections have an optimized training for multi-peak climbing. For example, if they are Tatra Mountains, we rather train climbing under the granite rock. We arrange problems in the above-mentioned rock. Each type of rock has its own specific types of problems. And the same way we do with groups climbing in limestone, sandstone, or strictly boulder groups, where the type of rock is more varied, but requires maximum strength. In sections climbing the rope after eight months, we begin to introduce a training shaping and increasing endurance and strength endurance. We also run boulder training in rocks for children and adults.
